Well, NASA lost almost all of its funding... but that's beside the point. I have had PCs since the age of 3 to the age of 19. I love computers and have been a computer nerd my entire life. Got my first Macbook Pro for college 8-9 months ago, and I will never go back. I most certainly do not miss Ctrl+alt+del, computer crashes, trojans, and my HP Pavilion(s) and Dell(s) rendering themselves unusable in terms of speed
 and crashes over time.

Not that PCs are bad when they do work. I enjoyed Windows. I tend to root for the OS with the most functions rather than the one that is the most polished and smooth running (I have an android phone over an iPhone). However, all of the issues I've had with PCs after spending so much money on them was not worth it. I spent $960 dollars on an HP Pavilion
 laptop 3-4 years ago that became a paper weight in 2-3 years. It's a joke and barely runs.

I think its about trying to fit the same accessories as the thinkpad on the macbook air and how it emphasises that the thinkpad can fit more
 without adding that much of a compromise on thickness or buying extra parts to have the same functionality.

It's not how many, but the fac that the MacBook Air had only one USB port. They made it as small as
 a netbook now, which is pretty useless since OS X runs poorly on netbook screen sizes.
